But I am also upgrading my CPU and motherboard to an Intel platform so that means I should do a fresh install of Windows 8 and update to 10 from there. The reason why I ask this because Windows 10 is coming which you can get if you "update" from your current version of Windows (Win 7, 8 or 8.1).
